We the living must drool over this gorgeous edition of Joe Abercrombie’s Best Served Cold, produced with our pals in England, fine press publisher Curious King. Featuring images by award-winning fantasy illustrator Tyler Jacobson and a dust jacket painting by Head of the Lit Escalates Closed Council Joel Daniel Phillips, this edition includes 4-color offset printing on Munken Lynx White Smooth stock. Red foil stamping on the book (designed by Lit Escalates Guild Magistra Emily Chase) and the sturdy slipcase ensure the envy of all your enemies when they come over for lunch.

We are proud to have produced what must be the highest spec book at this price point, in line with our Red Rising special edition collaboration with Curious King. The Artist Edition of Best Served Cold includes unique artwork by Tyler Jacobson on the interior and Joel Daniel Phillips on the dust jacket. The original binding artwork has been designed with the complete collection of all three books in the series in mind, building a cohesive set of images across the spines with the future release of each book. This book has also been designed to coordinate with the special edition printing of the First Law Trilogy produced by Lit Escalates.

Printed in 4-colour offset lithography on Munken Lynx White Smooth 100gsm by L.E.G.O. (Legatoria Editoriale Giovanni Olivotto) in Italy, this edition comes with a dust jacket featuring art from Joel Daniel Phillips as well as nine full-colour paintings and twenty black and white line drawings by Tyler Jacobson within the book.

Underneath the jacket, both front and back boards are covered in Black Buckram and hot foil stamped in a dark red metallic foil. Full-colour endpapers illustrated by Jacobson adorn both the front and back of the book.

The spine is rounded and comes with crimson head and tailbands. The slipcase has been formed out of 3mm thick board and covered with buckram. The slipcase design is on black buckram with crimson suede lining with a stamped foil quotation from Best Served Cold.
